Plainview is located in Southeast Minnesota, just 30 minutes from Rochester, Wabasha, and Winona. It is one hour from Red Wing, LaCrosse, and Cannon Falls, and 90 miles southeast of the Twin Cities. The Jon Hassler Theater is on Highway 247 (Broadway) in the middle of town.
